When I was pregnant with my DD I had a dream that she had a physical disability. She was super happy and healthy in the dream though. I didn't think anything of it at all and just chalked it up to hormone-fuelled pregnancy dreams.

Lo and behold, at our 20-week scan we were totally blindsided to find out DD had the exact same physical disability. I didn't remember the dream until a day or two later. Still the weirdest experience I've ever had! It was a very stressful pregnancy wondering what else could also be wrong. I wish I'd trusted my instinct and worried less as she'd been super fit and healthy in the dream - as turned out to be the case!

Keep us posted!

Omg really freaky, there's 2 sets of identical twins on my side of the family, my scan is next Tuesday so I'll find out then 😊

Before I even knew I was pregnant, I had a crazy dream that my aunt wanted me to go snorkeling in a bog behind her house, while I sung "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot". She wanted to record this for the news, apparently. When I asked how I would get out of the bog, she said she'd dial 999 when she had the footage she needed and tell them I was stuck. I refused to do this, but she somehow persuaded all my other cousins to do it, plus my two brothers.

In the meantime, I visited the home of a distant relative with a rare genetic condition which she had also passed onto her children. The condition meant that they were easily broken, so everything in their very cluttered house was wrapped in bubble wrap.

I woke up and thought "I need to take a pregnancy test" 😂

Wow!! That is really bizarre lol I can just picture that happening 😂

When I was pregnant I had a dream I was having triplets.. Was a bit gutted at my scan to only see one wee baba but completely overjoyed at the same time

Also had a dream me, my mum and sister were having lunch on a picnic bench at the side of a busy fast paced motorway... Not in a lay-by or anything literally at the side of the road on a patch of grass hahaha

Mama88 · 07/11/2018 10:02

I know I'm guna be a little gutted if theres one but thankful I'm having one at all. Hahaha the dreams we have, can you imagine driving passed and seeing that? Lol

I'm 26w and have the most vivid bizarre dreams every night. Before I was pregnant I never dreamt or certainly never remembered them. I woke up crying a few nights ago because I dreamt I was out for a meal with family and everyone got their meal except me and no one would listen to me 😂😂😂

I’m 37wks pregnant with DC2 and haven’t had any weird dreams but I think that’s because I’ve yet to have a stretch of sleep long enough to have any Grin

Notquiteagandt · 07/11/2018 11:36

Ive had all kind of crazy dreams through out.

I am currently 25w with a little girl. But had a really vivid dream last night that she was born and they had got it wrong. I was having a little boy. I was upset as I have a wardrobe full of girls clothes etc. So strange! Hope it isnt a sign.

newrubylane · 07/11/2018 13:28

OP, identical twins don't run in families, I'm afraid.

My mum had a dream that I was having twins (her dead mum spoke to her and referred to 'two little girls...') after I found out about the pregnancy but before we knew it is indeed twins! We shall see in about 3 weeks time whether it is also two little girls!

TwittleBee · 07/11/2018 13:34

I had a dream that I was giving birth to rabbits and the just kept coming and coming out of me, the room was filled with crying rabbits with baby faces and DH just looked at me and was like "TwittleBee, stop, we cant look after anymore"
I remember I was hystically crying as I couldnt stop and I didnt want this many babies!

That was with DS, pregnancy #1.

Also with DS I did have a dream about him though, spot on what he ended up looking like and this was before the 20 week scan!

I have had a few vivid dreams with this pregnancy, all really mundane ones though e.g. cleaning the house, at work, just driving etc

Pregnancy dreams are crazy!! I dreamt that I was at a charity fundraiser and two girls tried to steal fish fingers out of my handbag! 😂

BrewsD · 09/11/2018 00:07

Since very early pregnancy I've had the same reoccurring dream about bumping into an ex partner...

Haven't seen, spoken to or thought about said ex in almost 4years, I now live in a different country to him and I'm extremely happy with my current partner (the daddy to be) so why I keep having this boring, repetitive dream is a complete mystery to me!

julzx · 09/11/2018 00:15

I had 3 seperate dreams i was having a boy, even one of those dreams he wss dressed in pink like a girl but i new he was a boy!! Turned out he was a boy in the gender scan il find out in a couple of weeks time for sure lol

UndercoverLauren · 10/11/2018 08:39

I hope pregnancy dreams aren't prophesies, I dreamt I gave birth to a snake the other night. My main worry was that he couldn't latch on as he wasn't a mammal.

UndercoverLauren · 10/11/2018 08:40

@TwittleBee That made me laugh out loud XD

Justincase87 · 10/11/2018 08:43

I've just had a bfp and took a test because I had weird sleep hallucinations, last night I had weird graphic sex dreams about both my fellow managers at work.... if this one sticks, I'm in for a fun 9 months!
