Will kicks me obvious to me?

I just wanted to ask if it will be like totally clear to me when my baby starts kicking? I'm 22 weeks but my placenta is at the front so I've been warned I might not feel anything for a while but sometimes I feel what I would compare to bubbles in that area. Could this be the baby or will I definitely know the difference and have no doubt in my mind?

Depends on size, shape and position of baby. But yes. My DS1 had long legs and was crazy. He used to do somersaults at night so he could change the whole shape of my tummy. DS2 shorter and less manic but still regularly felt kicks. You’ll prob feel more in a few weeks.

To start with, no. I had an anterior placenta and didn’t feel anything until 20 weeks or so. The bubbles sound like they’re kicks. My first feelings of kicks felt like muscle twitches so took me ages to figure out they were actually kicks! They then started to feel like someone tapping their fingers inside my belly (very weird). Over time though the movements became more obvious with kicks and wriggles, but the placenta at the front will mean you’ll feel less overall.

Just before you go to sleep is generally when you feel most - your movement rocks baby to sleep so when you rest baby wakes up, plus being still means you can concentrate on what you’re feeling.

I do miss my baby kicking me inside, now she punches and pulls at my face instead 😂.

*pinches. She’s not punching quite yet at 8 months.

I have a posterior placenta so I could feel much earlier than you but at first I wasn't sure it wasn't just more gas at times but then it became obvious. Eventually kicks started being so hard that they hurt so there's no mistaking them

With my first I felt a sensation like a muscle spasm at about 16 weeks. It was like an involuntary shiver or twitch. Once he grew a bit I could clearly see his elbow sticking out (and I wasn't small either).
I'm 19 weeks with this one and haven't really felt anything yet... I think it really does vary.

I have a placenta in the normal place (not sure of the medical term) and I didn't start feeling proper kicks until about 24 weeks. I had the "bubbles" feeling very occasionally from about 20 weeks and was never really sure if it was movement. Now I'm getting properly booted!
