Is 500mg of paracetamol too much in pregnancy?

Isn’t that one tablet? So under most circumstances that is absolutely fine during pregnancy.

Celebelly · 23/10/2018 18:03

No, you can follow the usual guidelines on the pack.

gamerchick · 23/10/2018 18:04

You can take paracetamol what dose they say you can.

coffeekittens · 23/10/2018 18:04

I’ve been taking 4000mg per day for the past week as advised by my gp and hospital consultant, you’ll be fine

CobaltRose96 · 23/10/2018 18:29

Nope. I've been taking paracetamol regularly for a few weeks due to migraines and SPD and I've been told I can take up to 1000mg at a time, four times a day. 500mg is fine.
