A few days ago DP and I found out we're expecting baby number 2. Quite the surprise as we were planning on baby 2 for a couple of years.
What age gaps are between your DC?
I'm scared to death about how I'll cope!

Congratulations on your news!! 🎉

My DC1 is 10 months old and I'm 19 weeks with DC2!

(We planned for them to be very close in age, although I didn't expect to get pregnant on our first month trying 🙈)

Congratulations myotherbag! Ours will be 2 years and 4 months and I'm absolutely beside myself.

There is 2 years and 4 months between my eldest two. Neither of them were planned but I think it’s a great age gap.

My eldest was hard work as a baby and toddler but bring a ‘big brother’ really brought out the best in him. He was old enough to ‘help’ and enjoyed fetching nappies and wipes. They’re now 18 and 16 and the best of friends.

There will be 2 years 10 months between our two. Xx

Am currently 35 weeks pregnant with DC2. DD1 will be 2yrs 4 months when DC2 is born. Feck knows how it’ll go - I’ll let you know in a couple of months how I’m coping Grin

There's a bit less than that between mine and I didn't think of it being a small gap as most people I know who refer themselves as such have 18 months or less between. By two your dc will be so much more of a child than the baby they are now, for me there wasn't much difference in care/behaviour between ages of 2 and 4

Both my pregnancies were suprises😂😂.
First one when I was 15.
Second one was 23years later, when I was 38.
I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 5mths with dd2.
To say I was in shock is an understatement.
3 years later dd2 is the best thing to happen to us.

Congratulations, you'll be fine.
