Am I being mad or is anyone else pregnant with their third and have a bump so early. I’m literally using bobbles to hold my jeans together already. I was massive with my other two anyway but this is surly too early to have a bump? Anyone else the same? Please reply!!!!! Xxxx

I'm 6+5 with my second dc. I feel huge too. It can only be bloating, but it's definitely bump shaped. It's getting difficult to hide it from people already. I can't do any of my jeans up, and am into maternity leggings already as normal ones are painful!

fayeandben · 14/10/2018 10:03

Well it’s not good for my hormones feeling so massive I’m already having a breakdown. Nothing fits and I’m not prepared with maternity stuff yet. I feel rotten xx

Yep I had a bump at 6 weeks, people were asking me at 4-5 weeks if I was.

PenApple · 14/10/2018 10:20

Yup was exactly the same with my 3rd, not sure when it turned from bloat to bump but just seemed like a growing bump. By 10 weeks I looked like I did at 20 with my first.

I did get HUGE by the end of the pregnancy though, put on 5 stone....

UntilTheVeryEnd · 14/10/2018 10:56

Yes absolutely the same at 6 weeks with my third! Couldn’t fit any clothes at 7 weeks so spent a couple weeks wearing my husbands boxers and joggers 😂 I gave in at 10 weeks and bought some matty jeans from lidls. (All my old matty stuff currently being used by SIL)
I figured that all the muscles have stretched all ready so things pop out sooner. Not much to do but wear baggy jumpers and stretchy trousers. Good luck OP

Thanks guys. Feel loads better but still feel fat and exhausted lol

5 weeks tomorrow with dc3 and also really bloated. Really worried about how big in going to get. Doesn’t help that I’m staving so eating a bit more than usual :( feel gross too

Queeniepoos · 15/10/2018 00:49

I'm 9wks with my 2nd & I'm huge. I did this with ds though. Had an instant big bump which stayed the same size til 5/6mnths when everyone stopped saying my bump was huge & started telling me it was small. This one's massive enough to have been asked by several people yet I've only gained 1.3lb. No sense to it at all.
It's big flumpy jumper weather though so we do still have an advantage! 😂

Lilbear14 · 15/10/2018 07:50

I'm on my third and getting a bump. 7 weeks.
We've still not told people but it won't be long before it's obvious!

fayeandben · 15/10/2018 08:03

My daughter keeps looking at my belly but I can tell it’s confusing her and she wants to ask me. She’s only 6. We have an early scan on Saturday. Do you think we should tell them then or wait until our 12 weeks xx

I had an early scan at 8 weeks and was in two minds as to whether to tell my DD (4.5) - I decided to wait to 12 weeks scan (on Wednesday) as she can’t hold her water and would let the cat out of the bag before we were ready to tell.
If you are happy to tell her then that’s lovely! But maybe something to consider if you’re not ready to make it public x

Mummab3ar · 15/10/2018 08:20

Girl, I feel you! I am 9 weeks in this picture (am now 10+5, and I have no idea where this bloat/bump came from lol.

This is my third and I just feel like my belly ballooned! At this stage with my first I still had a flat stomach, no one could tell, and with my second still not really noticeable.

I'm not sure if it's bloating or bump or both, but I definitely feel like I am bigger than I should be at this stage. Which is difficult considering we haven't told anyone yet (including DS1 who is 5).

I've heard it's because the body remembers where what to do, and often the uterus is slightly better at expanding, but I'm not sure how medically accurate that is.

Bottom line...you are not alone, and I also use a hair bobble in my jeans Grin

Hahahaha you look fab. Everyone in our family knows and my partners family we have just kept it from the kids. My partner has a 13year old too who has been an only child and she is not going to be happy. But she will have to learn to be because we are over the moon. I think I should wait until 12 weeks scan but worried I’m gonna keep getting bigger and they will know xxx

Thank you Smile so do you!

We did tell everyone before my 12 week scan with DS1 and DS2, but this time wanted to wait, and it is proving to be difficult aha! My MIL asked me to go out drinking this weekend Confused...she knows I don't drink anyway. I've never been on a 'night out' the entire time I've known her lol. I think she is testing me to get me to tell her (she always has little hunches lol).

I'm sure your other half's 13 y/o will get used to it before baby arrives, and then when baby arrives she will love him/her Grin

sansouci · 15/10/2018 09:16

Your bump is beautiful!

sansouci · 15/10/2018 09:19

Both bumps!

Mummab3ar · 15/10/2018 09:26

fayeandben · 15/10/2018 09:33

Aw thanks guys. I’ve posted before and nobody has ever replied I’m so glad people have replied as it was worrying me. Traumatic experience this morning for me though!! Went to Asda because I have no clothes that fit me. Bought some tights and a work dress. Ask the woman at the till if I could go to the changing room and get changed she said yes. I came out heading towards to exit and got stopped and searched because I’d got changed. Wanted receipt and checked my bags. I’m humiliated!! I nearly cried I just had the laugh about it but seriously. Does it look like I can do a grab and run situation bloody hell!!! Xx

Oh gosh! That's awful. I hate how vulnerable being pregnant can make us feel sometimes. I cry at the drop of a hat these days.

Yesterday I cried watching Harry potter. Not even at a death or anything Blush. I put on the first one for my 5 year old and do you want to know the bit I cried at? When they dropped off Harry as a baby on his aunts doorstep BlushBlush! No idea why, just cried hahaha. I've watched that movie more times than I'd like to admit, so I don't know why I started crying lol.

My 5y/o was so confused lol.

lrwe · 15/10/2018 10:00

I had to go back and have a look at mine - I definitely looked much bigger this time round so that people guessed. I was in maternity clothes before 12 weeks!

I thought I was going to be massive - photo in blue dress is 8 weeks and photo in green top is today at 29+5 and I'm about the same size as I was with my two elder children!

@fayeandben oh that is beautiful - I'll keep everything crossed that you're the same size this time and not too much bigger!

I've blinked and missed most of this pregnancy - the joys of it being our third!

fayeandben · 06/11/2018 14:09
