5 week check up due June 2019

Today had been a whirlwind. Had constant dull ache with occasional sharp pain on the left hand side

Had to go to the early pregnancy unit for a check up.

Both external and internal to check for ectopic pregnancy. So far so good in the sense the egg is in the right place however there is a shadow beside it potentially a burst cyst that should dissolve in my body and potentially caused the pain but it's right beside the sac.

I've to go back in 2 weeks for another check up. I'm so grateful for their support.

I also got a letter from the doctors telling me i rested positive for strep b.

Not plain sailing and no info on that yet as I'm too early to have a midwife.

At the moment I'm doing this all alone no partner input or family so I thought I'd share incase anyone else has been through anything similar ❤️

Strep b is nothing to worry about.in labour you will be given I’v antibiotics and then baby will get antibiotics after delivery.

strep b is honestly nothing to worry about as previous poster said i had it and we were both fine i will say one thing though don't google it all you'll see is horror stories

Honestly the strep b stressing me it's the burst cyst right beside the sac and the shadow on my left ovary.

But fingers crossed.

I'm doing this all alone so not got anyone to talk to.

My mum wouldn't be happy about it and the ex has checked out.

Back a week on Tuesday as they want to keep a close eye on me and said there will be bleeding at some point.

The shadow on your ovary is likely your corpus luteum (the burst follicle from which your egg cane from). It produces the progesterone for the pregnancy until the placenta forms and takes over...

A burst cyst is just that - burst.
