Breast pain at 35 weeks

Hi all - for the past few nights I've had sharp/shooting pains in my left breast. Exaggerated as trying to stick to the sleeping on the left side only rule! Its not as painful when on my right side or walking etc etc but pretty much unbearable when I'm on my left.

Any ideas what it is - or just normal and made worse from the pressure of sleeping on that side?

Normal IME. Breasts are doing all sorts to prepare for milk production during pregnancy.
Stop with underwired bras if you are still wearing them as this can damage the developing breast tissue, but other than that just let them get on with it. Possible that sleep position is making it worse, but there aren't many options when pregnant. Are you wearing a soft sleep bra for gentle support at night? Not necessary, but it might help. Mine are feeling peculiar and a bit painful as I write this. It is annoying but will pass.

Underwired bras got ditched a while ago ahha! Yes I think position not helping as just the left. Will give the sleep bras a go as it's really keeping me awake! Not ideal. Thank you 😊
