Currently 23 weeks pregnant with dc2 and am really struggling to cheer up!

Without going into lengthy backstory I have had a lot on my plate recently including issues with dc1's father etc etc.
I work in a highly stressful job currently where it can be risky work and I do have previous history of depression/anxiety. (The believe it was post natal depression that took a long time to diagnose)

I'm having a pretty complicated horrific pregnancy too and just all in all feeling completely overwhelmed and honestly so low!

I've spoken to my midwife who's suggested going to the gp and discussing whether to medicate but I honestly am concerned about the medications as I didn't get on with them at all last time, and more importantly for the health of baby. But then equally I know me stressing and being an emotional wreck isn't good for baby or anyone else either!!

I have an incredible dp who is trying everything he can to be supportive but bless him is feeling a little lost despite me telling him he is helping but unfortunately this is just how it works sometimes.

I don't even know what I'm looking for, I guess just a little hand hold as currently feeling like such a failure!!
