Braxton Hicks - what do they feel like?

Basically, I thought I hadn't felt any Braxton hicks yet, but now I'm not sure. I have felt my bump go hard and uncomfortable quite a lot but always assumed it was the baby getting into a different position? I am 32 weeks.

I’m 38+6 and have struggled to figure it out! I didn’t have any with DD but I think I’ve have then from the start of the second trimester with DC2.
I think big movements and BH feel very similar. For me the difference is movements are in one part of my tummy whereas BH is my whole tummy.

I've had odd tightenings and feeling my womb go hard since 14 weeks - asked the midwife who said that's Braxton Hicks! Sounds like what you've had. I had no idea they could come on so early!

Yeah well I strangely only feel it from my bellybutton upward but to touch it just goes solid and ive always just thought she was pressing her back hard against my belly. Maybe sometimes she is and sometimes its BH haha i guess I'll never really know.

Im only stressing because my mum had silent labours and only knew she was in labour because she was having BH every 5 minutes. I assume at that point, i would know the difference!
