So I'm almost 37 weeks pregnant and this is my 2nd weeks of Mat leave.

Last week was so busy: MOT, 2x walks, batch cooking, cleaning, read 2 books, lunch with friends, antenatal class, aqua class, started a new series on Netflix, saw Kylie live, napped....you get the gist!

This week....nada. Friends all at work, family sick of the sight and sound of me (Halo), apart from a midwife appointment on Thursday I have NOTHING to do.

Just had the startling realisation that I might have 5/6 weeks left of this and it makes me want to weep!!! Any ideas for filling time? I thought I'd love lying on the sofa and napping but it seems to make me teary and emotional!

Go swimming. The exercise is really good for preparing you for labour and later on can induce. Plus it feels great when your baby kicks in the water (I thought so anyway).

Most importantly, enjoy the time to yourself in the peace and quiet. You probably won’t get much of that for years.

Word of warning - google is the enemy of a bored pregnant woman.

BTW, bravo! I was so disorganised. I was washing all the baby clothes the day before I went in for my induction 🙈.
