UTI in early pregnancy

HI, I’m only 6 weeks and have been feeling off but just thought it was normal. I’ve had a temperature for a few days but it got to 40 today so I thought I should go see the doctor. Turns out I’ve got a UTI and google has now terrified me that I’m either going to miscarry or will have caused harm to the baby. I didn’t realise a temperature could be dangerous and I feel really stupid.

Has this happened to anyone else? Was all ok or not? I’ve had three miscarriages in the past so I’m anxious anyway. Thanks for any help

I had a UTI at 6 weeks, kidney infection at 13 weeks and a couple more UTI's during second and third trimester. DS is 2 now!

Make sure you drink plenty of water and take antibiotics when prescribed. You and baby will be fine!

I had a UTI at 7 weeks, took the antibiotics and I'm 33 weeks now with no issues. :) It's very common.
