5 weeks ahead at growth scan

Please help!
So today I had a growth scan due to reduced movements over the weekend & the baby is measuring 5 weeks ahead... I was tested for GD ( gestational diabetes)at 28 weeks which came back fine and my levels were ok. But was retested today and told to come back to speak to my consultant tomorrow and will also get the results.

I'm driving myself crazy? Is my due date wrong? Will they bring this forward? My daughter was 9.1lb at full term (1 day early) They also said she's on the 96 centile. Has this happened to anyone before?

I measured big too and was induced at 37+1. They won’t change your dates if you had a 12 week scan as that is what dates you officially and is accurate. The further along you are, the less accurate measuring is.

I also didn’t have GD and my baby was 9 and a half pounds so heading for 11+ if I’d gone full term.

My dd tracked very big throughout pregnancy, up along the 100 centile on some measurements! No GD just a big girl. She was over 9 when delivered early due to being breech and big. Probably would have been over 10 if left for natural delivery.
I wouldn't worry but if there is an issue your consultant will be there to help and at least it's been caught now.
Hope the appointment goes well.

My baby is the same, I'm having extra GD tests but like you, I just make big babies.

That and growth scans are notoriously inaccurate so take their guess weight as a big pinch of salt.
