Birthing Ball and PGP

Hi all,

I'm developing pgp. At first it was just niggles and I hoped it would go away but no such luck. For me it's in the centre of my pelvis at the back, all around my coccyx area.

Are birthing balls ok to use/helpful for pgp? I really loved my ball in my last pregnancy but don't want to make anything worse. And are there any recommendations you would make on size of ball to get?

Many thanks!

As I understand it, using a ball is one of the worst things you can do with PGP. Sorry.

Ive had niggles too. Sometimes when I move a certain way, I can hear the bones grind... had my 16 week appointment and she recommended the birthing/ exercise ball!!!! Not sure if I should order one now...

My yoga teacher sings their praises for pgp. Go for at least a 65cm one. Bigger than you might get for the gym. She also bought a much smaller ball for a lady with pgp to have between her knees to help.
