31 weeks in agony when I walk

I'm currently 31 weeks and after a handhold. with my second baby and have a very energetic (naughty?!) little boy to look after and over the last couple of days have developed awful pain in my bones between my legs when I walk/ climb the stairs/ get off chair.
I had traumatic first delivery with forceps / bladder damage and had to have physio for months after. This pain is bringing all those feelings flooding back and I'm so worried how I'm going to be there for my little boy for potentially the next ten weeks. And scared to death about delivering his one safely.
Anyone got any tips on how to relieve the pain. I use my exercise ball lots to sit on as that eases it a bit and keep having baths.

Xx

Argh, I too am also suffering with SPD. Sorry to hear this.
I have had to go to an osteopath to get relief. Also there are exercises on YouTube that you can do.

I had SPD (had exactly your symptoms) earlier in pregnancy, total sympathies! I went to the NHS physio, you can self refer where I am. Found it really useful, pelvic floor exercises are recommended but the main thing for me was a long list of things to avoid. No more swimming, no exercise bike, no long walks, no standing/bearing weight on one leg (i.e. sit down to dress, have both feet on the ground getting out the car etc), no squatting down to load the washing machine etc etc. Basically avoid anything as much as you can where you have to exert pressure on your pelvis. Easier said than done with another child to look after but it really did wonders for me, the pain was pretty much gone after a couple of weeks.

It's my first pregnancy so nothing related to past injuries - it's possible your pain isn't either. Just take care of yourself + ask for all the help you need from your partner/family/friends, it's what they're there for! Flowers
