Eating noise fury

I accept this is probably strange. But does anyone else seem to develop a real aversion to the sound of other eating when pregnant. And feel so angry at it.

I’m not a fan of noisy eaters anyway but I just can’t bare the sound of people chewing/biting/licking(a lolly for example Grin/smacking their lips together. I can’t tolerate it at all. I’ve just had to move away from dh eating an ice cream because the noise was making me sick. He’s not usually a noisy eater that I’ve noticed.
Poor bloke can’t understand what he’s done wrong and I’m not normally this averse to him eating, so I’m assuming it’s a hormonal rage?

Is this a thing pregnancy aversion to other people’s eating noises?

Or am I just loosing my mind completely!

I’m like this normally too, it might be heightened due to your changing hormones, I get annoyed very easily at the moment

I’m like this on a normal day pre-pregnancy. I swear I’ve got that condition called ‘misophonia’ (severe aversion to certain sounds creating a fight or flight response!). Can’t stand the sound of chewing even when people have their mouths closed and yep mine has definitely gotten worse during pregnancy, don’t think it helps the nausea any! X

I'm like this all the time too
. Pregnant and non pregnant.

Yes normally I dislike noisy eaters. But I can tolerate some noise.
But at the moment it makes me want to vomit/hit the person/run out of the room with my hands on my ears.
I’m going to blame the hormones for a lower tolerance to irritations.
