When did your bump start to show with DC2?

Just that really Grin Very recently found out I'm pregnant with DC2... Unsure on dates, but think maybe 4-6 weeks, possibly up to 8 but unlikely. Swear I'm showing already! I know it's probably just bloating... But it's lovely baby bloat and not need to fart bloat Grin

I bloated from conception I think! I showed much earlier with my second, I was rounded at 14 weeks.

I’m 10 weeks and trying really hard to hide the bump for 2 more weeks before we tell people! It wasn’t noticeable till around 20 weeks with DS1!

SleepyMcEdie I don't know how we're going to get to 12 weeks without telling everyone! Someone had guessed I was pregnant with DC1 before then due to my bump Confused

15 weeks and have had a proper bump since 10 weeks. The bloating was awful! With DD I didn’t show until 20+ weeks so this has been a shock!!!

Pretty much instantly! (Well, about 8 or 9 weeks). When I told people at work at about 12 or 13 weeks (told my boss earlier, but everyone else) nearly everyone said “well obviously!” Or “I know!” Blush

2nd time round about...19 weeks I reckon. But I wear looser floaty clothes usually anyway, and have a long body...

Was asked today if I'm expecting a second - I'm 36 weeks!!! So maybe I could still get away with it?! (I really can't. It is VERY obvious, except to this person clearly!)

With dd2 I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 5 months😀

Didn't show until I was about 7 months.

I’m 9+4 with my second. Definitely don’t have a bump, but I’m so damn uncomfortable that I dug out my maternity jeans today as just can’t deal with waistbands. So much better!

I don’t enjoy this in between bit of just feeling a weird shape at all. I have a short torso so felt like I lost any shape to my waist long before it counted as a bump last time.

Before 12 weeks as a couple of people asked! Not directly, but asked my boss. I'm normally reasonably slim and my stomach muscles clearly weren't up to much Grin

About 7/8 weeks weeks with DC2
DC1 not until well over 20 weeks

I'm really curious about when I'll start to show! I'm about 5 weeks with DC2. There's a bit of rounding at the moment but I'm sure that's only because I've eaten all the pies (and enjoyed doing so)

I honestly don't know JLG19. I was on the pill, had absolutely no symptoms. I did have a lot going on in my life at the time and was more tired than usual.
I went to the doctors with what I thought was a kidney infection. I came out with an urgent referral to the hospital. I cried all the way home. We went for a scan the next day and there she was. I have never been so shocked in all my life.
Dd1 was 23 at the time, my body had obviously forgotten what is was like to be pregnant 😂😂.

Yes kiltedsheep it was. He came home from work, to be met with a hysterical, sobbing,me lying on the sofa. He actually laughed and didn't believe me. He definitely wasn't laughing the next day. The two of us were in complete shock.

I'm am pregnant with DC3 and think I only started showing around 16w

I'm now 20w and it's only now I can't really hide it.

Although I am carrying some extra weight (size 14-16) so this would help disguise it somewhat.

I only told colleagues at work at 18w.

Every one and every pregnancy is different.

Pretty much instantly for me too. I’m 11 weeks now and looking like I did at 18-20 weeks. Had to get into the loft for maternity clothes at 8 weeks as I was so uncomfortable. Some of my friends guess at about 7 weeks as my boobs had got big reallly quickly. I’m sure a lot must still be bloating but my shape has changed very quickly. I’m also having pelvic pain which I didn’t have at all last time.

I was in maternity bottoms from about 7 weeks - all bloat and slack stomach muscles but it counts because it was due to being pregnant Grin
