Hey!

Looking for advice. Am now 9 weeks 3 days and previously have experienced a lot of nausea, exhaustion and boobs have been sore. Since 9 weeks I’ve felt like myself again, felt a lot better.. not much nausea at all, feel more awake and my boobs aren’t really sore just my nipples tender. I am worried this is a bad sign as my symptoms are subsiding. Any advice,? Anyone had the same?....

Thanks in advance...

Em x

This is exactly what happened to me at about 10 weeks.
When I went for my 12 week scan I was expecting bad news. Sonographer announced it was twins!! Grin

Don’t worry. I had the same thing around the same time and even created a similar thread asking the same question. Loads of posters on here told me that symptoms can often come and go.
If you’re mind still isn’t settled, perhaps arrange an early scan. I know the three-week wait you have until your 12-week scan can seem like forever!

@123whatsmyusername thank you!!! I’m currently on holiday for 2 weeks so won’t have long to wait when I get home! Just felt concerned but I’m sure with my mind being active from holiday and being able to chilll out, that’s partly why I’m feeling fine!

Completely normal, happens with most pregnancies. You may find you don't feel a whole lot of anything pregnancy-related for a good 6-7 weeks after this! Just enjoy not feeling rubbish again, as pretty soon you'll feel a thousand unwanted pregnancy symptoms at once. Pregnancy sucks sometimes; you go from about 12 weeks of nausea, to 12 weeks of nothing much, to 16 weeks of NO MAKE IT STOP GET THIS BABY OUT PLEASE. Great fun!

I had a sort of lull in symptoms around 9 weeks. It didn't last! I'm 12+4 now and have definitely suffered nausea and lots of other symptoms since. Enjoy the respite while it lasts.

I had the same thing. The placenta is slowly taking over. I booked a early scan in worry and all was fine.

NewMum800 · 22/08/2018 13:56

Hello, I am 9 weeks today and have been thinking this myself. For the past week the nausea which was really badin the morning has dissappeared. Got me quite worries. Still get a headache throughout the day and food aversion but worried because I can manage breakfast now in the morning. I know! Im being ridiculous!

Daisy2990 · 24/08/2018 13:09

If your nipples are sore then you still have symptoms :) try not to worry.
In my first pregnancy I felt better literally overnight at about 11 weeks. This time around I'm about 10+3 and can suddenly eat again.
It is different for everyone, but you may find symptoms come and go for a few weeks yet.

It happened to me too!
At 10 weeks they came back slightly, but nothing major then I felt amazing at 11 weeks. Full of energy, eating food well, not sick etc.
Just had my dating scan today. All went well and baby very active. I was nervous for bad news so really delighted ❤️

@Em0203 I found that in the early stages and it made me very anxious. I was tempted to delete the app but also had some lovely info on here. Now we're in the second trimester group there are fewer sad stories but and there is I panic and take a few days off.

Em0203 · 25/08/2018 08:56

Thank you @baby160p that’s good advice! I am just 10 weeks so have my scan in couple of weeks and think I am just going to think positively until then! I’ve had nothing to tell me anything is wrong... I’ve had cramping on and off and after sex sorry TMI about doc said that is normal!

Hi, exactly the same with me and I was really worried, as my first pregnancy it was constant until 12 weeks, however it is different for everyone and I’m now 14+2 and everything is fine. It’s hard not to worry but it is perfectly normal.
