I've been having nausea, constipation and diarrhoea...

Last night the nausea was so bad it woke me up at 3am and I couldn't go back to sleep after.

I feel so weak and ill. I've eaten some dry toast and keep having water but today it's just constant.

I've even tried to make myself sick but nothing came up and it provided no relief.

Any tips to try and feel better??

I'm currently in bed and my DH is looking after our DS downstairs. He's back at work tomorrow and I am dreading being on my own with a toddler feeling like this!!

Also with my first pregnancy I should add I had nowhere near as bad symptoms as I'm having now. Just a little bit of nausea and lost my appetite a bit.

Didn't get constipation until a lot later in the pregnancy too

How can this pregnancy be so different 😫

Go and see your GP or midwife. I was like this through all my pregnancies and it’s grim. I’m so sorry you feel rough.

You might have a virus or bug. Definitely see your GP as soon as you can x

Oh no I'm sorry you're having a rough time @brodiee Flowers I had quite different pregnancies with all three of mine, but far and away the first trimester was the toughest. Easier said than done when you already have a DC but try to rest whenever possible. I had to learn to seriously lower my standards round the house, and they haven't changed since tbh BlushHmmGrin I found ginger snaps helped with the nausea, as well as travel sickness wristbands?

Give it a couple more days OP to check its not a bug. If it persists, ask them for cyclizine or similar. Pregnancy can be shit, and everyone deals with it differently, but there are no prizes for discomfort :(
Hope it eases for you.

Thanks all. I've ordered some travel sickness bands, and paracetamol has eased the horrible tummy cramps I was having (gastro related).

Still feeling like absolute crap but a bit better than earlier.

Just want this feeling to go away 😩

Hi, Im 7+1 weeks and feeling similar....so so nauseous all the time, occasionally sick , the thought of food makes me sick and all I want to do is lie in bed :(!! I am so excited about having a baby but it just feels like this horrible all day and all night long sickness is stealing some of that ....:( really really hoping it doesnt last the whole pregnancy, struggling to eat anything and am worrying about the baby - Im fat so it should be fine, or so everyone tells me...but still...!

Nibble on ginger biscuits. If you can drink ginger and camomile tea- really helped on both of mine. I was not physically sick once on either of mine, however the wanting to be constantly (why do the call I morning when it lasts all day?!!) I wished I could be sick just to have some relief. But like
I said I never was. But I found the ginger really helped. You can even just put some slices of fresh ginger or some mushed up into hot water and that will work too.
Good Luck!!
