I'm 36.5 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I have been having braxton hicks almost continuously for the last week or two with intermitant sharper pains. Had an appointment with the consultant yesterday morning (who is a bitch, after that app I'm now currently trying to swap consultants) which stressed me out, she did however say baby was very low but still able to move head so didnt think cramping was anything serious happening. However yesterday afternoon I had explosive diarrhoea. Wrote it off as a reaction from stress maybe but then it's just happened again now. Could this be stress or slow/early labour? Tried ringing midwives who just cut me off as soon as I said diarrhoea and told me to speak to GP, didn't get chance to say about cramping. Waiting for GP to ring back. So my question to you folks is this, could it be early labour or is it more likely stress related? I don't want to over react
