Throbbing and swollen fingers

Just wondered if anyone has ever experienced swollen and throbbing fingers and could suggest anything to do to ease the discomfort? I'm 30 weeks and have been awake on and off through the night as can't get comfortable. I first noticed my fingers swelling on Friday night as had to take off my wedding rings and still have an indent from them now, throbbing started through the night on both hands. I've checked my blood pressure and that's not high but will continue keeping an eye on it.

Could be dehydration. Are you drinking enough water?

I learnt a really weird (but useful) tip when I was a runner. Lick the back of your hand when you have swollen fingers. Does it taste salty? If it does, you’re dehydrated and need to replace fluids and salts.

Definitely keep an eye on it though x

Sounds like carpel tunnel...if it’s not going away and it’s worse at night and on a morning it’s quite likely - if it’s more concentrated in middle fingers and not your little finger then it’s very possible CTS.
Mine came on about 33 weeks, had a creeping tingling sensations over a few mornings, then aches in the joints and numbness in my finger tips.
I’ve been wearing a proper wrist split for the past week and it’s really helped, it’s still there but much less noticeable.
Mention it to your midwife or GP and they can give you a splint if that’s what they think it is.
