Hello...

I’m 36w + 2 days with DC3. Have had growth scans due to my age and yesterday it looked like I have a 6lb 6oz healthy baby, head down but not engaged. Had previous DC at 37 and 39 weeks. As 37 is term hoping baby will come soon.

I really want to avoid induction -the reason being that should this lead to interventions, I cannot have an epidural or spinal and am very likely to need a general anaesthetic due to long standing spinal problems.

Please give me all your tips to get things moving spontaneously!

I tried nearly everything I heard that would get a baby moving, nothing worked and I was induced after 2 weeks late. I heard eating pineapple helps but I can not stand it I never tied that.

Just make plans to do something, that's what worked for me 24 hrs before my induction appointment Grin but in all seriousness my midwife told me the only thing she believed worked was Clary Sage oil. Just be careful about using it before 40 weeks.
