Girls names - please help me

Am agonising over this and need some advice. Is it fair and responsible to call your daughter Scout? Are there any Scouts out there? Or mothers/aunties/uncles/fathers of Scouts?

Honest answers please. The other name in the pipeline is Emmy.

I think Scout is really cute, but iirc it is a nickname in To Kill a Mockingbird (I think the girl's real name is Elizabeth), so really you could give your girl any name and have it as a nickname.
