Weight gain at 30wks

I'm 30wks and have just weighed myself for first time In a while. 😱😩😱I've gained nearly 2stone!!!😱I have to have planned c section at 37wks due to weakness in wound from previous emergency c section. So I only have 7 weeks to go, but I'm so worried that in those 7 weeks ill pile on another stone! 😩😩😩I'm not eating an obscene amount of food and now that my nausea is better I'm including fruit and veg everyday. I'm drinking lots of water, some milk, and each night a big glass of cherry cola with a pack of Pom bears as a treat. The only other treat I allow myself is a fun size bounty after dinner. I'm not doing much exercising as I have pretty severe pain in my pelvis. But I'm not sitting all day as I have two wee boys off on summer hols and we're decorating their rooms. I feel thirsty most of the time, my mouth is super dry all the time and I'm only peeing little dribbles even though I feel I'm drinking a lot. I'm wondering if I'm perhaps retaining lots of water ( which I did in my last pregnancy) also have any of you tried cutting calories at this point of pregnancy? I'm so worried I'm going to be a whale after delivery! 😩😩😩

I can't help but know how you feel, I've not been weighed since my booking in appt and I'm now 31 weeks and don't want to know how much I've put on 🙈 I actually binned my scales as I knew I'd get so worried about it!
I worked so hard to loose 2stone last year after gaining it when I lost my mum, so I don't want to know if it's back 😭
I can deffo see a double chin starting but like you hope it's water as I'm drinking a lot x

Kiztok so sorry to hear you lost your mum!💕There's no harm in a little comfort eating to get you through a hard time. But you did great losing it! I too am sporting a bit of an emerging double chin and my face overall looks quite puffy, which makes me look younger.😂😂 But seriously worried what the next 7 weeks will bring. A friend of mine followed slimming world during and after pregnancy. She said its safe for pregnancy and not about losing just keeping weight gain under control. I know it's a little late, but better now than never. I'm off to look it up. 😀
