Weirdly shaped gestational sac?

Hi everyone.

Today I went for a private early reassurance scan after suffering a miscarriage in April.

There was a strong heartbeat and bean was right on time for dates We are thrilled, but am I wrong for thinking the sac is a weird shape?

The sonographer made no mention of it either by mouth or in the report. She said everything looked good. But I thought sacs were supposed to be round?

I'm probably worrying over nothing

Congratulations on your scan. Such great news to see a heartbeat!
I think what's more important is if the outline of the sac is regular than the shape and they would've told you if it wasn't.

Hey! I had a scan at 8 weeks and it looks like this! I'm now almost 23 weeks and it looks very much the normal fetus 🤣

Hey Hun. Congratulations on your little heartbeat. I remember you from the miscarriage boards.
My sac was a funny shape too at 6+4 and I did the same thing and panicked but 🤞🏻 I’m nearly 18 weeks and everything looks good so far.
It depends on the angle on the scan aswell coz every Scan I’ve had since, at some angles, the sac does look round and then when they move it, the sac changes to a very similar shape as yours above.

Mine changed shape all the time and they will do don't worry, congratulations, I do also understand the extra anxiety that comes after pregnancy loss, you can see the shape mine started out and how it was at the next scan

Do your pregnancy turns out fine and baby is now ok. Even you have irregular/weird gestational sac shape.
I also have same scenario at my 8weeks pregnancy. And I cant stop overthinking.
I have stillbirth last February and I am very worried in my case now.
