Left gas on all day, worried

Hi all, I am currently 32 weeks pregnant.
This morning I made some breakfast (around 11am). The kitchen window was open as were all the windows upstairs due to the current hat wave. My husband and I went out to dinner around 8pm, before we left I close all windows. When we returned a couple of hours later I could subtly smell gas. My husband checked the cooker and the job I had used was very slightly on which must have caused the smell. There is no smell now and baby is moving ok but I’m worried that I may have breathed in 8 hours worth of gas. I have done a bit of reading and people have said that natural gas is not dangerous only carbon monoxide. I have had no headache. Can anyone advise? Xx

AFAIK, the only reason breathing natural gas is harmful is that you're necessarily breathing less oxygen.

You'd have noticed, don't worry.

That’s what I read... and that it isn’t toxic. I haven’t had a headache or anything so I’m hoping because I had the kitchen window there was sufficient ventilation for there not to be a problem.

The smell added to gas is so strong, don't worry, seriously.

The biggest risk is fire, not inhalation, from this kind of small amount.
