4 weeks + 5 days pregnant

Hi all,

I have just found out a few days ago that I’m approx 4 weeks pregnant. Done 3 tests and they have all confirmed it

I feel like AF is coming? Like I keep getting slight period like pains..

Anyone experienced this? Is it normal? Should I be worried?

Mild cramps and feeling like your period is about to start are both totally normal- I’ve had both with dd and now this pregnancy.

If the cramps became painful or you had any bleeding, that would be when you’d look to speak to a midwife or epu.

Thank you so much.. it’s easy to worry when it’s the first time you’ve been pregnant and you get random aches and pains haha! Thank you for reassuring me

Im 4+5 too! Yes mild cramps and twinges perfectly normal! My hpts are getting stronger each day so that's reassuring. I now what you mean how nerve wrecking it is!! Congratulations 😊

This is my 2nd - DS is 5. Didn't realise I was preg until 8 weeks with him! So knowing early on is quite strange!!

@Em0203 im 4+2 and the other day was having quite a lot of cramps. This is Number 2 for me, and I was getting quite sharp stabbing pain around my c section scar, very odd! Aside from that I don't really have any other symptoms - do you?

Can I ask a silly question? Is 4 plus 5 worked out from date of conception or first day of your last period? If the latter then I am 4 plus 5 too! and also have that feeling of period about to start.

@Pebblesandblamblam It's the latter hun. Last menstrual period (LMP). Due dates may change at 12wk dating scan!
