Hi all!
I was hoping for some info / feedback / stories about using evening primrose oil to help soften the cervix. Does it help with not going over your due date and what are the other advantages you’ve found?
When did you start taking it? I’ve been taking 1000 mg a day for the past few months without realising what the effects on pregnancy are! But now I know more I wanted to see if I should up my dose? I’m 35 weeks and baby is healthy and facing the right way etc.

My last experience.

I used EPO, inserted one 1000mg capsule before bed from 37 weeks.
Got to 38 and used two capsules at night.. waters broke next morning and my labour was fairy short. Dilating from 5-10 and giving birth only took 3 hours.. but this could be due to a number of things like the fact I was also drinking loads of raspberry leaf tea, and using birthing ball religiously.
I believe it helped me I am currently 37+5 and using two internally (500mg) and one orally. Which I never did last time but heard it can help more so.. definitely no harm in it I know if you follow the instructions on the bottle it says you can take 3 a day (500mg) double heck your bottle. X

Thank you!! This is so helpful. Can you just insert the same pills that you swallow?
