Hi ladies - as above really. I'm 11 weeks tomorrow and I seriously think I'm starting to show already! I've had the last two weeks off work (holiday) and I'm worried that everyone is going to see me and know! Xx

I'm pregnant for the first time so my experience won't help you, but my colleague is pregnant for the second time, is 13 weeks and is showing a fair bit. Might be bloating but she didn't show much at all with her first even at the end (very small bump).

Yakadee · 15/07/2018 21:52

Thanks @MissFranklin, congratulations! I was about 18 weeks with my first before I really started showing - I thought I had a bit more time! Lol xx

I'm 11 weeks today and I'm not sure if it's bloating or I'm showing to be honest I just feel a bit fat because it's not really a bump as such. I think for me it's more bloating because some days I don't feel as big as other days. This is my second pregnancy and I've read quite a bit that you show earlier the second time.

dinosaurkisses · 15/07/2018 21:56

I'm five weeks with dc2 and I'm so sodding bloated- I refuse to call it showing as it's just gas not baby!

Really looking forward to 13-15 weeks when it's obviously a bump and not just a big-lunch looking belly!

Camsie30 · 15/07/2018 22:04

I'm 9 weeks with my second and already feel like my tummy and boobs are huge, but still on loads of IVF drugs so not sure if that's why. Want to keep it under wraps at work for as long as I can...

Yakadee · 15/07/2018 22:09

@NaomiJ11 - mine is defo bigger than before, I've only put on a few lbs and already can't do any of my pants up!

@dinosaurkisses - maybe it's just a gas baby! 😂

@Camsie30 - feels hard to keep it quiet doesn't it!

Thanks ladies xx

32 weeks with my first and around 29 weeks this time!

MissFranklin · 15/07/2018 22:33

Thank you yaka and best of luck!

Hjkillas · 15/07/2018 23:18

Secnd time round I was bloated from 6/7 weeks then it just got bigger and bigger!! No hiding it by 13/14 weeks

NaomiJ11 · 16/07/2018 06:49

With my first I think I wasn't showing until my second scan and even then I could hide it well because I remember I didn't tell my employer until after that. I definitely won't be getting away with it this time!

Yakadee · 16/07/2018 07:02

I know! I have work this morning and no idea what to wear - I think I might have to wear a bin bag! Lol x

I’m fairly short and pear shaped which I think makes it harder to hide anyway as my midsection is usually my smallest area. With my first I had a small bump from around 16 weeks (my jeans were tight but don’t think anyone else would have noticed) and properly popped out at around 24 weeks. This time my jeans were tight around 12 weeks and have a proper bump now at 17 weeks.

BendingSpoons · 16/07/2018 07:22

I am 10 weeks and am definitely bigger, but not sure if it is bloat, cake or bump! (Have been using sugar to combat sickness). Last time I went to a family wedding at 13 weeks and people noticed. I think I am ok in skirts and tops but dresses show my tummy. Haven't tried to put on a pair of trousers in the heat to see!

Yakadee · 17/07/2018 18:14

Turns out there was was only one person in from my team and she knows already so not bad lol x

OhBergine · 17/07/2018 18:47

I think I was about 20 weeks (second pregnancy) when people started to notice. I didn't tell work until after my 20 week scan and no one knew.

NaomiJ11 · 17/07/2018 22:04

I went to work today and me and OH dad work at the same place (he knows I'm pregnant) but he's had a couple of people come up to him today asking if I'm pregnant. He's told them no lol but omg that just shows that it's not just me that thinks I'm showing a bit!

Yakadee · 18/07/2018 07:24

@NaomiJ11 - I wouldn't be able to look at anyone as I'd give the game away lol x

I’m only 6 weeks and look like a beached whale already. I assuming it is just extreme bloating as in the morning I look ok but I don’t know what I’ll do if someone asks me outright. I showed early ish last time though so maybe I’m just designed to pop.

Yakadee · 18/07/2018 18:38

Crazy isn't it! I had mega bloat to begin with too. I am sure I'm showing now. My hubby was running my tum earlier and and it feels like a prego tum now and now just fat Haha - charming! X

Way more bloat the second time round. I wore baggy clothes from about 6 weeks because I felt so massive. About 13/14 weeks I got more of a bump, although it just looked like excess cake. From about 20 weeks I looked properly pregnant.

NaomiJ11 · 18/07/2018 21:50

I have my 1st scan next week so will let everyone know once we know everything is ok. It's such a pain trying to find clothes to wear my jeans don't do up anymore and we're in that in between bit where I don't quite need maternity clothes but my own clothes don't fit properly anymore.....I've been on the look out for maternity clothes actually but haven't found anything nice. Anyone found somewhere with decent maternity wear??

Yakadee · 18/07/2018 21:54

@NaomiJ11 - I've found a few bits in new look. Maybe try a band. Not sure what they're called exactly but it's a piece of tight material that you put over your trousers so you don't have to button up x

NaomiJ11 · 18/07/2018 22:48

Yh I've seen those in a few places. I think I'm struggling with finding summer clothes at the moment I have a couple of playsuits I'm still able to fit into they might have to do til autumn!

Yakadee · 19/07/2018 06:51

@NaomiJ11 - floaty dresses maybe? X
