So I'm nearly 39 weeks pregnant, I went in to hospital with reduced movements where they monitored me, all was fine but I have been referred for a growth scan and had to go in everyday this week up until my scan for more monitoring. Just wondered if anyone knows why i am having another scan? Like why does this link to the reduced movements? Has anyone else been in for a scan after reduced movements? They said today it was a growth scan and that there me a bit so I didn't ask when I shouldve done

I had reduced movements at 27 weeks, everything was fine when I went in and was monitored but they sent me for a growth scan afterwards as my bump was measuring big. No idea why, I just assumed it was standard. Bump and growth scans were measuring huge throughout my pregnancy, DD was born 16 days ago at 7lbs 6oz. Normal weight but very long in the body- and she's lovely and healthy
