Feeling hungover in early pregnancy... normal?

Hi everyone.

Is it normal to feel hungover in early pregnancy? I'm five weeks gone and obviously haven't been drinking, but I'm feeling super nauseous with bad heartburn, tired, and my head is pounding! I genuinely feel like I had one too many last night! Pregnancy is fun Grin

I had a miscarriage in April so everything is a worry. I'm getting way more symptoms than I did with the pregnancy I lost, so I'm hoping the fact that I feel crappy is a good thing!

Thanks! Flowers

That is exactly how I described my early pregnancy sickness! Mine was between 8 to 11 weeks though.

This is the way I describe how I felt from about week 6 to 13! All I wanted to do was sleep and all I could stomach was beige food

This is how I've always described pregnancy. Some days like you've had a few pints in the pub and other days like you've been on a bender! Always some kind of hangover feeling sometimes for 9 months.

Yes!! My boyfriend used to say my body just felt like it should be hungover so that’s why I was feeling ill. It gets better, I’m now 19 weeks with no sickness or anything.

Very normal. Like a hangover food also helps a bit with the nausea.

This is how I knew I was pregnant second time round.
Congratulations!
