First time mummy with no clue!
I've been so anxious and paranoid for the last couple of weeks. I believe we are 7 weeks.

Other than about 8 tests, feeling nauseous every now, tired, boobs +2 sizes and nipples doubling in size I don't have any other symptoms.

Did everyone have all of the symptoms it says?

That sounds like loads of symptoms to me! Everyone is different and everyone will have a different selection of symptoms (or none at all except a missing period).

Baby160P · 09/07/2018 17:03

That's made me feel a little better thank you. We have a early scan booked to put my mind at ease im a anxious wreck! 🙈

One of the main symptoms for me at first was how thirsty I was! Was a huge difference to before I was pregnant. And headaches Angry

Baby160P · 09/07/2018 17:10

I'm like why aren't I being sick!?!

I hate being sick so shouldn't complain.

I had headaches at first when I didn't know I was and was taking migraine pills.

🙈🙈🙈🙈

The sickness could still come. I had it from around 8-13 weeks and then started to feel half normal again

Nothisispatrick · 09/07/2018 17:15

I wasn't sick at all, just felt sick. I think it would be unusual to get every single possible symptom.

Baby160P · 09/07/2018 17:28

Thanks everyone, google can be the devil with negative threads I've read. You're all making me feel much better ❤️

I wasn’t sick with dc1 at all and had absolutely no symptoms until I was 9plus weeks gone
Pregnancy with dc2 I had ALL the symptoms.
Unsurprisingly I preferred my first pregnancy....

Yakadee · 09/07/2018 18:03

@Baby160P - it's so scary isn't it. I'm expecting DC2 and still can't help but worry sometimes!

Just try stay positive, everything is in your favour so just try stay away from Google and trust your body xxx

beccii161016 · 09/07/2018 18:19

I know it's hard but try not to worry about sickness. I know it's the one symptom everyone almost hopes for as a reassurance but 1) it's awful and 2) my friend had no sickness and worried herself silly that something was wrong. She is now 22 weeks with a little girl and has still had barely any symptoms!

You have a good few things going on so everything sounds positive! Smile

Baby160P · 09/07/2018 19:19

Thank you for this reassurance.
We actually have booked a private scan for this evening so fingers crossed. #impatient!

I'm nine weeks in a few days and have felt mildly nauseous at most, don't worry!

Baby160P · 09/07/2018 19:26

Hoping to be a lucky one!!!!

I was nauseous from 4 weeks until about 14 weeks. I was only physically sick 3 times, thankfully.

Other than that, I had some cramps, headaches, extreme thirst, tiredness and bigger boobs.

Pregnancy affects everyone differently :) hope your scan gives you the reassurance you want :) x

FoxgloveStar · 10/07/2018 07:08

Sounds totally normal. I’m on my second pregnancy. First I was sick once after a coughing fit while ill (around 12 weeks) and second I haven’t been sick at all (now 18 weeks). Be grateful you aren’t suffering and try to calm your anxiety. Pregnancy is a long ride and it is not healthy to worry unnessecarily the whole time.

BasicUsername · 10/07/2018 09:33

I wasn't sick and had no other symptoms, baby is now 7 months old and perfect!

I did the same as you though, booked an early scan for reassurance. I think mine was at 8 weeks.

Good luck tonight!

Baby160P · 10/07/2018 11:43

We had the early scan and I'm 7 weeks exactly, lovely to see the little heart beat which has reassured me!

Congratulations @Baby160P -it's wonderful to see the tiny little baby dot for the very first time Smile

Baby160P · 10/07/2018 14:58

@BasicUsername I had a little cry!
Felt like a plonker but hey ho.

Sounds like far more symptoms than I had with DS1. I was just very tired for a few weeks (and my periods stopped which was my first clue!). With DS2 my first symptom was him suddenly kicking me when I was around 26 weeks! Nothing else was any different (my pill caused monthly withdrawal bleeding and no other signs). So don't panic that you don't 'feel' pregnant. Sounds like you have plenty symptoms, not everyone is bedbound with sickness or huge by 12 weeks. Glad your scan went well!

Baby160P · 10/07/2018 15:12

Thank you @Roomba as no family or friends know I've been sneakily trying to ask questions until I found this forum!

how lovely to see the heartbeat @baby160P that is so exciting! I have a scan on Friday when I'll be 6w +6, hoping for the same.

I don't know if you're due in Feb or March, but there is a Marchers thread on the antenatal clubs board, which has been invaluable for me support-wise since my BFP. It's a lovely bunch of mums-to-be, so if you fancy joining us you are more than welcome.

Baby160P · 11/07/2018 09:42

I was given the date February 25th so almost March! I'll have a look see if I'm following it already. Thank you.
