Im 6 weeks today. Past week ive felt sick but manageable. Yesterday i spent all day with my head in the toilet. Today i am suffering nausea, any sight of food is making me wanna vom but a burger king went down well lol. I am now going back to work, but work as a cleaner so im bending down and up, moving about alot which isnt helping as i just want to sit still. Cant manage ginger but brougjt some travel bands as i had them with my last pregnancy but i cant remember what else i did to relieve it a bit. Has anyone got any tips?

I found the sea sickness bands a really big help, plus sipping water little and often. If you can keep something plain down (I had mints, rich tea biscuits, boiled sweets, rice cakes and certain fruits) you might find this helps keep the nausea at bay. I tried to eat something small every two hours or so, almost to preempt the hungry/nausea feeling.

Stay away from any dairy foods and after eating a few ritz biscuits etc follow the BRAT diet and congratulations!

Eat. Eat. Eat. Anything you can manage. Try flavoured fizzy water too.

Keep a bucket, mints and mouthwash with you. Far nicer being sick on a bucket then a toilet. I used a kids sand castle bucket which worked a treat.

If you can eat burger king and keep it down, go for it!

I feel your pain I was sick for about 10 weeks. Things that helped me where
Coke - flat as possible just small sips
Slices of cheese - just to nibble on
Rich Tea biscuits
Jelly - as sweet as possible
Ice lollies to keep fluids down

My diet consisted of the above for weeks - my poor baby!
Another good tip that I couldn't have done without was to keep freezer bags in your handbag / car door so if you get caught short you can throw up in them. I went through lots! And keep baby wipes and mints.
Also don't brush your teeth straight after, it's bad for the enamel.
Everyone says once your over it, that looking back it doesn't seem as bad as it actually was! And I think they may be right! I'm 19 weeks now and haven't been sick since 16 weeks. It's VERY depressing but it does get better.
