Hi! Will try and keep this brief. If my baby is now head down but has been pretty mobile up until now (breech/oblique/transverse) can I still have a section at 39 weeks, just in case baby moves and I end up with an emergency section anyway?

Any midwives out there or people who've been in the same boat?

Thank you Smile

Why on earth did you cancel it??

Thabk you Samantha Flowers

Itchy- the midwife just told me that if I'd turned up and baby was head down they wouldn't have done it anyway. So it was the right thing to do. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi all, I've just dug my thread back up because I'm certain my baby has moved to transverse again.

It feels like he might be back to back as well if that's possible, as I have lots of tiny arm/leg movements across the front of my bump.

My question is: should I call the midwives again to be checked?

I'm not normally this anxious (I've had 3 babies already!!) and I'm driving myself a bit mad here.

Any advice gratefully received Flowers

When are you next due to see your midwife?

My ADU said to come in if I ever think she had changed position for a quick presentation scan- she had moved every time I thought she had
