I had lletz last year, told they took quite a bit of my cervix away. I had my cervix measured at 16 weeks and it was 3.5 cm. All good. However I am now 27 weeks and had a consultant appointment to measure it again. But it was a different consultant who said as the 16 week measurement was fine, he didn't need to check again. I said did it not matter that that was over 10 weeks ago and baby obviously heavier now, would that not impact the length of my cervix. And he just dismissed this, saying it didn't matter now until labour. Is he right? Why would they have asked me back at this point if the 16 week measurement was fine?! Ugh. Just feel a bit let down by this. Sorry for the ramble.
