Pregnancy problems earlier with second baby

I don’t really know why I’m posting but feel a bit down today.
This is my second baby (third pregnancy) in just over a year and my body seems to be suffering much worse than last time!
I have just peed myself while sneezing which never happened with my first baby and I’ve already got awful piles and I’m only 24 weeks! They didn’t start until 35 weeks last time.

Anyone else find this the second time around? Did it get worse and worse until you were full term?

I peed myself while coughing or sneezing all. the. time with my second one, which was never a problem with baby 1. On the plus side 2nd baby basically shot out in two big pushes, compared to 90 mins of pushing with first. So I guess that was the pay off?

Lol thanks I guess there are some pros then! I need to invest in some pads for the next 3/4 months.

I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant with my second and am definitely finding it all a bit harder. General everyday aches and pains, breathless just walking up the stairs and so tired all the time. I'm not as fit (at all) as I was last pregnancy and wonder if it has to do with that.

Unfortunately yes, I found this (sorry.)

I had HG in my first, was hospitalised with it with current second baby.
Had spd with my first, could just about hobble by the end but managed and was ok up to about 28 weeks with no.1. With no.2 it came on in the first trimester and I’m now on crutches at 31 weeks.

I have found everything worse about the second time round! At least you know what to expect. Take care of yourself and rest as much as you can.

I could have written your post! it’s my second pregnancy and i’m suffering with swollen hands and feet, piles and horrific heartburn and have been for a while. my most used phrase is ‘i was only like this at the end with DD!’ oh the glamour.
