AIBU to feel pissed off?

To cut a long story short, SIL and DN visit my house. A lot. Even when I am not in (they have a key, as does MIL). SIL and DN have own house in same town.

MIL picks up daughter from school and they all congregate at my house. Am currently 36 weeks pregnant and regularly come home to house absolutely ramsacked, no food left in cupboards, dishes everywhere, toys all over the floor etc etc.

I work full time, as does DP. AIBU to feel annoyed at the fact that I have to clear up after, and shop for, people who obviously have no consideration for the fact that I am physically struggling quite badly?

Change your locks and get DH to have a word. Even when not pregnant, this would irritate me so much!

Pregnant or not, you are not BU. Either you or DH need to set the ground rules on what the key is for.

Do you mean MIL picks up your daughter or your SIL's?

Unless you're willing to face sitting down and having a conversation saying that you need a bit more privacy, and the house in the same state that you left it, I'd change the locks for some reason and just not offer up the new keys. Just say that with a baby on the way everything's changing and you feel the need to batten down the hatches for the moment.

Unless you'll be relying on MIL for childcare...

Christ that is the most ridiculous arrangement I’ve ever heard. The only way this would be acceptable is if they were coming round to help! Get the locks changed and get an alarm.

It's not unreasonable to be annoyed but if you're relying on them for childcare you'll need to phrase things carefully or risk losing it.
