Hi lovely ladies,

Just seeking a bit of advice/reassurance! I am 9 weeks +3 with my first & for 5 days I have not had the usual cramping that I was experiencing most days before. I had 2 days of uncomfortable lower back pain and then nothing more!
My boobs are still slightly sore, nausea & food aversions in full force but I don't feel as exhausted as previous...I had an early scan at around 5 weeks+6 as I got myself in a panic (again!) - heartbeat found & all was well.
I have my first appointment booked for next week Tuesday, so not long to hold out but I'm driving myself mad! The Googling needs to stop!!
Any thoughts so much appreciated. Thank you xx

The googling does need to stop! (This board doesn't help either!) Symptoms tend to fade towards the end of the second trimester. All I can really advise is waiting. The odds are in your favour, when you hit 9 weeks the risk of mc is lower than 5% (i found this website helpful datayze.com/miscarriage-chart.php but not everyone likes statistics).

Remember, if you do miscarry there is nothing you can do now to change that so the best thing you can do is put it out of your mind. Depending what works for you, either try to forget you are pregnant at all or do things that make you feel pregnant (I started buying maternity clothes because I was already too bloated to do up most of my trousers) and find a distraction when you start worrying. Not long really until your dating scan now xx

That’s VERY NORMAL.
You are towards the end of the first trimester and all those symptoms are supposed to fade.
You are not supposed to be in pain and uncomfortable throughout the whole of the pregnancy lol.

What you should be seen in the next few weeks is your energy getting better, nausea to go away completely etc...
The 12 week mark is often seen as the time when all that is happening and you feel better. In reality it can happen before (some women don’t have any nausea, pain etc...) or after.
So I wouod saybthat actually what you are noticing is basically the pregnancy going well!

And yes please stop googling!
