Hey girls,

37 +2 weeks pregnant. Just wondered if anyone had used clary sage oil? If so... how did you use it and what were your experiences?

Thanks 😘 x

Hi, I have memories of rubbing clary sage oil into my big toe and dripping it into the bath (mixed with a small amount of milk so it doesn’t sit on the top).
I ended up being induced but it was a very easy induction (just a peassary) and sighing a good amount of time.

I wanted to use clary sage the second time but he was due in the summer and I was way too hot to have baths!

I got given a load by my MW. I've been rubbing it on my pillow every night, having baths, rubbing it on my bump etc for over 2 weeks now. I'm a week overdue so from my experience of say it does bugger all (same with bouncing, walking, dancing, sex, pineapple, raspberry leaf tea, curry, nipple tweaking) but if you mix it with something it smells lovely so whether it helps or not there is no down side 😀

I have mine mixed with lavender, it's a bit pongy in its own

I used it religiously for a week before and right up to delivery (40+5) so made no difference to me whatsoever.

It did bugger all for me! I was pouring it in my bath every night for 2 weeks, soaking a flannel and placing it on my bump while in the bath as well, and didn't get so much as a single tightening once! My labour was very quick though so whether it helped in that sense who knows! Will still be trying it again this time though Grin

I used it in my baths and once did feel some tightening but that's all!

Just used this in the bath mixed with kev ended and ylang ylang. OMG the smell is horrific. Showered it off and I still feel like it’s stuck in my nostrils 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
