Hi I'm expecting identical twins and am looking for a wide moses. has anyone every found one. they all look so narrow?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Honestly I’d avoid them. My twins slept in an arms reach cosleeper at night, big enough until they were about 7 months, and downstairs we used a travel cot with a thick mattress, plenty of room for them to share, can be used to contain them when they’re a bit bigger and ideal if you need to go away somewhere.

My twins couldn't sleep together. One loved it, the other would scream the house down.

I had really fixed ideas of what I should / shouldn’t do but as pp says you may find they like sleeping together or they don’t. Mine were mostly separated for a few months aside from one having a quick nap in with the other in nicu from about 6 weeks old. When I got them both home I found they did want to lie together so got rid of the Moses baskets and got the travel cot.

@TammySwansonTwo can I just ask if they both fitted in the same arms length cosleeper? I know they tend to be a bit smaller than cots so just wondering how it works, practically.

Sorry for thread hijack!

I didn't think co-sleeping twins in a moses basket was advisable due to lack of airflow even if it was wider than normal. Please check with your midwife and maybe look at a crib instead?

The arms reach co sleeper (arms reach is the brand) is much bigger than the usual co sleepers like next 2 me - it’s the same size as a standard travel cot. They did share the same one until they outgrew it at 7 months but they were small.
