Is this morning sickness?

Went to bed last night feeling fine just the usual tired then through the night everytime i turned over i felt sick.

Convinced myself the two sausage rolls i eat around 6.30pm were too blame.

Woke up this morning ready for work and started dry wretching. Couldn't brush my teeth it was so bad and i managed to bring up a little bit of sick and instantly felt better.

Decided to get ready for work but dp advised me not to and i felt stupid as i really did feel better. This was about 7.00am. I had some ginger biscuits and drank some water then about 8.30 brought it all back up and what seemed like more.

Felt ok again so kept topping up with juice then about 10.30 stood up stomache felt all swimmy and i threw up all the liquid again. Then felt better.

This happened again about 1.30pm and i have had a lie down since so no fluids or anything and so far so good.

Do i have a random bug or is this morning sickness? Im 7wks today. Been pregnant 3 times before and not suffered with it.

For info i dont have any stomache pains or diahorreah yet and dont seem to have a temperature.

Could be - when I had it the nausea never went, even after being sick. Don't stop your fluids though. Frequent tiny sips.

The weird thing is i'm not really feeling sick. It's kind of coming on really quick. So i have a couple of hours feeling fine then be sick again.

I guess i will know more tomorrow. If it is morning sickness how do people manage with it? I don't have any idea how i would cope at work / getting to work and i haven't told anyone yet and really dont want to.

It sounds like it could be morning sickness. Easier said than done, but try to keep your blood sugar levels up, that helped me, even if that means eating sweets, and echo pp, and keep up your fluids as best you can

I’d say probably is morning sickness. I couldn’t brush my teeth until I was about 20 weeks without dry wretching the whole way through. Mine started at about 7 weeks too. I was never actually sick, just felt sick a lot, so I don’t know about feeling better after being sick though. Would have thought if it was a bug you wouldn’t feel better and would feel ill in yourself too?

Yep, that's what mine was like!! One minute I was fine, next minute I was chucking up lol you'll work out the best ways to make yourself feel better, mine was always worse when I was hungry so better to eat little and often for me!

Oh heck. I wonder if eating more will help soak the liquid up cos its that swishy feeling that seems to make me be sick.

Ive only had a couple of ginger snaps today and now eating an ice lolly. Have managed abou 1800mls of water so far tho.

Its the drive to work im panicking about its a half hour drive partially on a dual carraigeway. Is it possible?

Yes sounds like it although i felr sick most of the time to, If i drank to much could almost gurantee being sick and even when i hardly ate i would vomit bile. Nothing made it better.

DBoo · 12/06/2018 16:31

Yes i had vile this morning and once the liquid is all up more bile.

Im feeling like it might have passed now so will see what tomorrow brings. I was not prepared for this. I thought nausea was bad but at least you know where you stand with that.
