‘Morning’ sickness and working with food

So, I have horrific ‘morning’ sickness and vomiting that seems to stick around most of the day, I tend to cope at home better however at work it’s a different story, I work in a kitchen and all food there seems to turn my stomach. Everything I have to cook there I immediately go off. I’m only 9 weeks into this pregnancy so I’m hoping it will ease off at some point, but for now I’m wondering does anyone have any coping techniques with this? Also, would the doctor possibly sign me off sick for this reason? Any help is appreciated!Smile

I feel for you, I am around 6 weeks and whilst full blown morning sickness hasn't kicked in yet (I'm sure it will), I am feeling like I want to be sick every time I eat something! It's driving me mad...so I can't even imagine how you're feeling.

I hope someone provides and answer soon for you

I was signed off for 4 weeks and given anti sickness medication that was a god send.
Definitely go Doctors asap x

have you tried travel sickness bands? I don't know if it was all in my head but they really seemed to help me.

I’ve made an appointment now, hopefully I get the same results! x

A gp would sign you off. Daytime "morning" sickness is grim.
Hope you're out the other side very soon.
