miscarriage or implantation bleed?

Hi all, TMI ahead. So i'm very confused. had last period 13th May but18 days ago (23.05) i started to bleed pretty lightly (like the first day of your period). It started 5 days after the end of my period and it has happened every day since. It's usually on the toilet paper or a little bit in the toilet., only couple of days has it beem heavy enough for a pad, the other days ive just veen wearing liners. Anyway, went to docs last monday for a sinus issue and mentioned it, she took bloods. Was called back on Wednesday and told i'm 4-5 pregnant but that it could be an early miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy and just have to wait and see. Spoke to another midwife who said it wasn't looking good. Has anyone else had this and how did it turn out? How long do miscarriages last and how long does implatation bleed last? TIA

Im so sorry to hear this, I have read some positive stories of women bleeding early on so don't loose all hope just yet.

I'experiencing something similar, GP sent me for an early scan and I'm now being monitored by blood tests.
Have they proposed to do another blood test to see if your levels increase?

Hi there, I just created a thread. I would say I am having something very similar. Although, my bleeding started just a day or two before my period was actually due. Mines has never been heavy enough to wear any liner or pad though, only when I go to the toilet I notice it. No clotts, just blood when I wipe and some in the toilet. Sounds very similar.

How many days have you been bleeding now? I was 6 days like this, and now it's stopped. I haven't been to the Doctors yet, however have took 2 tests, both Neg. Although it could be far too early to detect any of the hormones for a positive.

Sorry to hear you are going though something similar too. What happened at your early scan?

Are you still bleeding, or how long did you bleed for?

Implantation bleeding is very light spotting, most often pink/brown in colour rather than red and lasts a day max usually around the time your period is due. Spotting in early pregnancy can, however, be normal. I would go back to your GP and request a referral to EPAU to be scanned. Good luck .

They said i'm too early for a scan but getting bloods done again tomorrow to see if hcg have risen. Bleeding has been for 19 days now. The say it started on either implantation or ovulation day. So strange. Feel like i'm in limbo! Also means that i ovulate 4/5 days earlier than normal. There was only 5 days between the last day of my period and this bleeding starting, and only one night of nookie in between so it's all a mystery lol. Sorry TMI. :)
