If it's your first pregnancy and are naturally slim/fit then it's normal to not have an obvious bump yet! It was around 16/17 when mine started to become more obvious. I have a pic on my phone of my 16 week "bump" and laugh at it now, it was no bump at all compared to a few months later!

Whereland · 05/06/2018 09:54

16 weeks!

Snap. This is my 3rd pregnancy too. With dc1 I didn't show until well after 20 week scan. With dc2 I was showing around 14 weeks and with this 1 I am now 16 weeks and like you could pass for a bit bloated but not a bump! I think this one is going to be a girl because it is following same pattern as my dc1 who was a girl. dc 2 was a boy and I showed much sooner. But that's just my body. Before you know it you will feel like a whale unable to sleep or get out of bed unaided. Make the most of being able to paint your toe nails and shave your legs without assistance! HAHAHA

I just looked fat at 16 weeks. Didn't really pop until 20/21 (and at 22 still just look fat if I wear loose clothes). I was neither slim nor fit, and I'm short too!

isambardo · 05/06/2018 10:28

With dc1 I definitely wasn’t showing much at the 20 week scan but was by around 22 weeks. It will come!

chloechloe · 05/06/2018 10:42

My two DDs were born at 40+5 and 38+1, at which point I looked about 20 weeks with each. I didn't tell work about DD2 until 6.5 months and nobody had noticed. Look on the bright side - whilst it's ok to have a big bump, I expect most mum's to be would rather have a neat one!

ell22 · 05/06/2018 10:52

I was exactly the same, my bump started to show at about 20 weeks but even then it was small and no one really noticed. I remember thinking the same and really wanted it to show, but towards the end I was thankful I didn't have a huge bump. I'm petite and it was uncomfortable towards the end, so it would of been way more uncomfortable with a bigger bump. Also I didn't have to buy many maternity clothes as I was wearing my own for so long lol

LiitleAce · 05/06/2018 10:53

I'm 25 weeks and I'm only just getting a bump that's noticeable as opposed to 'looks like I've had a big roast dinner' 😂

Childrenofthesun · 05/06/2018 10:56

Didn't show with either of mine in the first few months - I just looked a bit tubby. Second time round I didn't even tell people until after the 20 week scan. I was a bit worried I had small babies but I did suddenly get big towards the end and both my babies were fairly hefty - 9lb plus.

I have a retroverted uterus so I think they were just tucked away towards my spine.

mermaid1204 · 05/06/2018 11:10

I'm 16 weeks with my first and quite short not overly skinny usually a size 10 and no bump!! I can feel it getting harder underneath the layer of fat but just look bloated too!! I can't wait for a bump!

ExpectingFirst · 05/06/2018 11:21

My bump has only just started showing and I'm 19 weeks. I just looked bloated before (I'm 5ft4 and normally a size 12/14) so have always had a bit of a belly! I'm looking forward to "popping" though!

ellsharks · 05/06/2018 12:08

This is so funny as I posted about being told my 16 week bump was too big, but loads of lovely ladies told me it was small! I think everyyyyy human body will be different. This is me! I'm usually a slim short arse... but I appear to have a bump! Someone did tell me If you have a strong abdomen it hold it's in, but I was always a leg girl at the gym 😂😂 xx

LittleLoveXoxo · 05/06/2018 12:27

lol thank you all! im only 5ft and usually a size 6-8 so i was expecting to pop straight away! i know i shouldnt worry but i have a holiday coming up and i dont want to be around the pool in a bikini looking bloated or fat - i want to look clearly pregnant! hope it pops soon hehe xx

I didn’t have a bump at 16 weeks and I’m having twins.

I think if you’re slimmer/first pregnancy you show later. I’m 24 weeks now and a lot of people still haven’t realised I’m pregnant! However my bump is starting to feel very tight and stretched already. I’d enjoy having no bump for as long as you canGrin

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 05/06/2018 18:01

I'm 20 weeks and am only just getting a slight bump!

Wellthisunexpected · 05/06/2018 18:49

I had no bump and was in normal skinny jeans until 26 weeks!

Seacow87 · 05/06/2018 19:04

Aw this happened to me, i was on holidays 17-19 weeks pregnant and i had lost my waist but had no bump! I just patted my belly and enjoyed my mocktails anands tried to look pregnant 😂

likelyLilac · 06/06/2018 17:45

Before mine really started to show at 14 weeks (early grower) I had the bloat body. So people would know I was I pregnant I started to woddle, eventually dp told me I looked constipated.

2good · 06/06/2018 21:21

I had nothing at all until 20 weeks, now I'm 40 weeks and massive!!
