I'm 7 weeks 2 days and when in bed have been trying to sleep on my left side but sometimes will turn on my right side can wake up and I'm on my back, what should I be doing? X

I definitely slept on my front until I was 20 weeks! Grin So do whatever makes you comfortable, your body will let you know if it's not good. I.e. I stopped sleeping on my front when it didn't feel right/couldn't do it any more.
I'm pretty sure in third trimester if baby is squashing that vein from sleeping on your back it wakes you up/makes you feel ill. So you don't need to stress. The study they did 'proving' a link between sleeping on your back and still birth was very limited.

I told my wife that she was ok to sleep on her back last night.. She did, and had the best nights sleep she's had in weeks !

Woke up with little to no leg pain and felt 100% better :)
