5 Weeks 2 days with high HCG levels but no Sac

Hi Everyone - This is my first pregnancy so I really dont know what to expect. I'm 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant had have had some mild cramping and very light spotting. I've had my blood taken 3 days ago and my HCG levels were over 2000 so they had asked me to go in for a scan. They couldnt find anything at all in my womb - except something they thought MIGHT have been a sac but couldnt be sure, even with a second opinion. I've gone back today and there is still nothing showing up on the Scan and the woman said my levels should be over 4000 now so there really should be something there. I'm so confused as I still feel pregnant and the woman I first saw had said maybe I'm just not that easy to scan and also that she thought I might have a heart shapred uterus which could add to the difficulty so I'm holding onto every bit of hope.

Has anyone had HCG levels above 4000 but still not seen anything on the scan?

Hi I’m just going through similar and wondered if you could share what happened I know it’s been sometime but I’m googling my life away desperate

@Minnie0910 didn't want to read and run not sure on 4000 but I had to have a scan at 5 weeks 3 days due to one sided pain. My hcg was 22000 at that stage so really high and just a sac and start of fetal pole could be seen went back a week later and baby was there with heartbeat and all now a very cheeky 9month old hope it works out for u

Thankyou for sharing your good news story with me it does give me a bit of hope but I can’t see it my hcg levels have dropped by 600 over 4 days :( I have a scan at 11 today so nervous! Thankyou for sharing

I’m still classed as unknown location couldn’t see anything in my womb, tubes, ovaries and pelvis and I have to go back in a week for more bloods. Another week of torture :(

@Minnie0910 how far along do u think u are? When did u test positive and what have blood results been?
