Bleaching hair while pregnant

Hi all I am 31 weeks pregnant and I am booked in the salon to have my hair bleached blonde is this safe to do in pregnancy? Xx

Colour just might not take as it would prior to pregnancy due to hormones x

I had highlights done throughout both if my pregnancies, my hairdresser wouldn't do a full head as she said the colour wouldn't take as well and it would be super itchy.

I had my hair bleached at 34 weeks. Read a lot about it and talked to my hair dresser and decided it was safe. My hair dresser used a lower concentration bleach than usual just to be extra safe. I think because you are so far along, you are probably fine. From what I read, there is no evidence that it isn’t safe so I was happy to go ahead.
