Elcs tomorrow so re jigging bag - I bought a cheap black nightie in case of labour but it's not as comfy as a colourful one I have.

What do you wear on the operating table?! - nothing or that?

Or take black to wear initially and change into nicer comfy one later on?

I imagine they’ll get you changed into a theatre gown which will be backless so they can get to your back to give you the spinal.

You wear a hospital gown in theatre and recovery. I was helped to change into my nighty in the evening after visitors had left. Don't take one you really like though, there will be a lot of blood!

I wore a hospital gown that day and changed the next day. It was great for breastfeeding at first.

Ok so the blood may be an issue? I simply can't remember! I had an emcs last time.

Yes normal post-birth bleeding, not from the wound. I bought a cheap supermarket nighty for the occasion!
