Evap line or pregnant question

I have head that if u have a test that says negative but a day later there's a faint line it could be a evap line.
But apparently if you put some water on test and if it is an evap line the line will disappear but If the line stays if positive? Is this true?

A day old test is irrelevant.

Try testing again with your first morning wee if you want to really find out. Good luck

The only reason why I ask is I did a test today not first wee tho. And was negative but yesterday I did one first wee and forgot about it till this morning and there was a v faint positive line there n it was definitely pink not grey. So I thought of doing the water test thing but unsure if its true xx

A result after a day is not a good indicator. I’d chuck it and try again - not saying you’re not pregnant but don’t trust one that isn’t fresh!

Oh and apologies for double post, but adding extra water to it definitely won’t make it more accurate!
