Pregnancy after Sayana injection

Hi Girls ,

I am 30 this year , I have a 9 year old boy and I would like to TTC another one . I have had 2 shots of sayana press injection ( self injections ) . My last injection was the 20th of Feb ... so mine should run out on the 20th May 2018. I have read a few horror post about taking years . I frightened with my age as I’m not a young chick anymore . I have polyps , early stages of fibroids and an ectoprium on my cervix - this is why I had to go on the injection . I’m concerned with all these things it will take ages . Does anyone have any happy stories ???? How long did it take to get pregnant

There can be a delay in return of fertility of up to a year for some women but then again some women miss an injection and get pregnant. There’s no way of telling I’m afraid but it doesn’t def mean it will take a year to conceive only that it’s a possibility. Good luck

I’ve had 2 injections of Sayana Press.
My last Injection was on jan 4th 2018 and I had a period on 15th April and nothing since.

Kinda strange how my period returned 14 weeks after the last injection but hasn’t returned again.

I’ve had all sorts of hormonal symptoms, heavy boobs, increased cm, period like pains but no period. I’m just hoping I’m back to normal soon.

Just an update. I started my period 5 days ago so praying I am back to normal now!

@greenette I've just noticed your update .... have they been regular ??? I still haven't had a one yet . I have the heavy sore boobs and symptoms but nothing xxx

My periods has been every 12-13 days for the last 5 cycles. I am currently on day 16 and no sign of a period. Either I’m pregnant or I’m getting a bit more regular.

I have t tested yet. I was usually every 28 days so I would be due on 27th (which is my birthday). This really is my last chance this month as we are off to America for 3 weeks next September and done want to be pregnant or with a tiny baby when I go.

I’ve had two shots of seyana press my last one Ran out on Valentine’s Day (2019) I’ve now just started to get spots of blood do you think that means I can get pregnant? My ovulation tests the last 3 days have been negative :(

I had my sanyana press injection june 7 2020 it expired September 7 2020, i started menstruating September 8 2020, i have been menstruating every month after then i didn't take any injection again, am trying to get pregnant but still not, am scared, hope everything is fine with me
