Snotty discharge (sorry for tmi)

I’m coming up to 12 weeks, I had a scan at nearly 10 due to spotting, high risk and a history of miscarriage. Scan showed a baby with a strong heartbeat, started to relax ever so slightly.
A few days ago I had one bit of brown spotting just when I wiped, a minimal amount. But ever since I keep getting snotty discharge, actually looks like snot, slightly yellowish colour, not itchy or smelly. My boobs aren’t really hurting anymore and I thought my sickness had gone but was sick three times last night so seems to be back.
I think I’m probably rambling but I’m thinking about this all the time, I feel like I’ve got so close to the 12 week scan and it’s about to be taken away again. I have a scan at epu again tomorrow but what I’m really wondering is if anyone else has had this snotty stuff and what was the outcome in early pregnancy good or bad?

I had the exact same thing. A bit of brown followed by snotty yellow discharge. I was panicking but it turned out to be thrush!

Could be your mucus plug. It regenerates so doesn't actually mean you are going into labour.
I was losing mine between weeks 14 and 26 this pregnancy

Thanks for your replies. I didn’t even think of thrush being a possibility, every time I’ve had thrush it’s a white colour.
I was worried about it being my mucus plug and that definitely meaning it’s a miscarriage. I guess it’s not long till I find out but it’s all I can think about today.

It's really common to lose your mucus plug early. As I said, it grows back. You should only worry about it when it's red/blood tinged!
Good luck with your scan! Flowers

I had similar in the first trimester but now am in the second trimester and it’s gone so not sure what it was. All was fine with my baby so I assumed it was due to early hormones or something!

Iv had this quite a few times in all my pregnancy's . It's normal as long as no blood or pain with it . If you worried call your midwife. X

I'm 27 w and had the same as @biscay turned out to be thrush! Same colour etc as what you describe and no itching... had for a few weeks without realising and then tiny spotting which made me get checked out. Go to the GPso they can reassure you.. Smile

Thank you, you’ve given me a little bit of hope. I’ll be back to update how the scan goes anyway, even if it just helps somebody else looking for answers.

Everything was perfect at the scan, baby is very active in there. Will be off to the gp tomorrow to see if they can look for some answers before I have the consultant next week. Thanks for everyone’s help

Good news, congratulations.
I had this discharge throughout my pregnancy, no reason found for it, just one of those things.
